About Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #1 Manitoba.

BAC Local #1 is a proud affiliate of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. With over a century’s-worth of experience protecting the rights of our workers, the IUBAC is the oldest continuous union in North America.

We represent the most highly skilled trowel trades craftworkers across the Canada and the United States, including bricklayers, stone and marble masons, and pointers/cleaners/caulkers. We are committed to improving our members’ quality of life – on and off the job – by actively advocating for fair wages, good benefits, safe working conditions, quality training and solidarity.
